On the morning of the 25th of July, the final event of the NOBEL GRID project on Smart Grids and funded by the Horizon 2020 programme will take place in an open session in Valencia (Spain) to present its main results and findings and to share with the public the lessons learned after 42 months of researching and development.

The event will take place in Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) and   will be opened its General Director of IVACE Júlia Company Sanus, as well, presentations and keynote speeches will be delivered by the partners of the consortium.

“During the final event, the project coordinators, ETRA I+D, will present to the whole audience the main project results that have been achieved, with special focus to the SLAM, the advanced smart meter designed, developed and certified during the project” as said the Grupo ETRA’s spokesperson.

“NOBEL GRID SLAM is a new generation smart meter for the European energy transition that provides advanced services for all the actors of the smart grid, putting the Consumer at the Center. The SLAM, which complies with European legislation of energy meters, has been designed, developed, and certified as part of NOBEL GRID project” added.

Thanks to these developed results, the project has generated a great impact on the European distribution networks, promoting the use of clean energy, reducing emissions and electricity bills, as well as giving greater empowerment to the final consumer.

In addition, the participants will find out the  the impact of the project in its 5 European pilot sites in Spain, Belgium, Italy, Greece and the United Kingdom.
