Valencia will host the Final Event of NOBEL GRID

On the morning of the 25th of July, the final event of the NOBEL GRID project on Smart Grids will take place in an open session in Valencia (Spain) to present its main results and findings and to share with the public the lessons learned after 42 months of researching and development. Presentations and keynote speeches will be delivered by the partners of the consortium.

The Final Review between the European Commission (EC) and the consortium will take place from the afternoon of the 25th to the 26th. First, the EC will visit, together with the partners, one of the five European pilot sites located at the Alginet Electric Co-operative in Spain, which is a local grid operator and energy retailer. The cooperative supplies 46 million kW per year through 35 sub-centres, with an installed power of 18,000 kW and almost 6,000 users, benefiting from cooperative services and innovative smart meters.

The following day, a review meeting will allow the consortium partners to present the main results obtained.
